On a more personal note…

Prior to becoming a Certified Home Inspector, I spent over 30 years in the field of construction.  I’ve worked on both residential and commercial structures; everything from carpentry, foundations, roofing, siding, finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and everything in between.  In my spare time, I’ve purchased, remodeled and sold several homes of my own so I can say that I have pretty much ‘seen it all’.  I know what to look for in purchasing a home; the good and the bad, and can explain and answer questions about home repair, home maintenance… and when it’s time to call a licensed contractor.

I have been married for 10 years and have three children.  My wife works for Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) and our family is very much involved with our local 4-H program.  I love to give back to my community by volunteering with youth, helping with local youth sports and volunteering at community events.
